True Haunting (2025) “Eerie Hall” screening and Q&A
On Nov. 1, 2025 Chris Di Cesare, in an event sponsored by Syracuse Paranormal, delivered a screening of the Netflix adaptation followed by a Q&A. Leading the event were four of the key speakers for the episodes: Chris DiCesare, J. Jeff Ungar, Linda Kalasinski, and Craig Norr (not featuring Vito Di Cesare and Father Charlie Manning due to health reasons, or Di Cesare’s former roommate Paul, who has not spoken to Chris in over 30 years).

Last May, eight porch geese dressed in graduation caps and gowns decorated the MacVittie College Union. They were everywhere, from the Hunt Room to the top of a vending machine—this is the scene I entered.

On Saturday Oct. 25, 2025 Peace Action Geneseo (PAG) hosted a rally in support of Peace for Palestine in collaboration with the Young Democratic Socialists of America at Geneseo (YDSA).
SUNY Geneseo’s Little “Sing Song Groups”
On Oct. 25 at 7:00pm in Wadsworth Auditorium, the room echoed with the sound of voices singing in harmony. This event was the first a cappella concert of the semester, featuring five of SUNY Geneseo’s very own talented groups: Between the Lines, Emmelodics, Exit 8, Hips ‘N Harmony, and Southside Boys.

No Kings 2.0 at Geneseo
Last Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, Geneseo joined over 2,700 other peaceful protests across the US in a second series of No Kings protests, which saw over seven million attendees, according to No Kings. Like other No Kings events, Geneseo held a “nationwide day of defiance” to the second Trump Administration, according to Geneseo Peace Action.

Sundance Books is a small yet incredibly homey shop located right on Main Street, wedged between Envy Hair Salon and Main Moon. Sundance Books has been open since 1972, bringing in countless students, residents, and more over the years, supplying the local community with affordable options to buy and sell books.
Geneseo’s Creative Writing Club!
Joining a Creative Writing Club might sound intimidating when you first hear about it. Writing might imply a club that you have to complete work for, and sharing your work with other people can be a little scary. However, just attending a single meeting will show you that there is nothing intimidating about the club at all!
SUNY Geneseo welcomes the pickleball club
SUNY Geneseo students have opened a pickleball club on campus, hoping to expand the amount of student clubs, the number of students involved in club sports, and to respond to the national surge of interest in the sport.
