Now that our trick-or-treating days are long past, college students need a new way to celebrate Halloween and throwing a Halloween party is a great way to keep the festive spirit alive.
Halloween is the perfect time to get creative with fun decorations. Whether you’re in a dorm room or an apartment, there are so many easy ways to give your space some Halloween flair. Drape fake spider webs over doors and entranceways and add in a few fake spiders to really freak out your guests.
For a creepy lighting decoration, fill white stockings with glow balls, easy Wal-Mart purchases, and hang them up around your room. Make a bunch of these stockings for a spooky atmosphere.
Another vital ingredient for a successful Halloween party is the right food and drink.
To create a creepy Halloween drink, fill a bowl with red punch. Next, pour water into a rubber glove, tie the end of it, and put the water-filled glove into the freezer. When the water is frozen, peel the glove off and put the ice hand into the punch.
For a Halloween snack, fill a clear cup with chocolate pudding and sprinkle crumbled Oreo cookies on top. On a chocolate chip or ladyfinger cookie, write R.I.P. on one side with gel frosting. Stick the cookie into the pudding with the R.I.P. sticking out on top, and you’ll have a tombstone pudding treat.
It’s up to you what activities to do at the party. Try setting the mood with some Halloween music, fun games and an abundance of candy.
With friends, spooky decorations and snacks, Halloween will turn out to be a fun-filled night for all.
