Two Americans killed in shooting at German airport

German police and U.S. soldiers talk after a gunman fired shots at U.S. soldiers on a bus outside Frankfurt airport on March 2.  The gunman killed two Americans and wounded two others before being taken into custody, authorities said.

"We will spare no effort in learning how this outrageous act took place and in working with German authorities to ensure that all of the perpetrators are brought to justice," President Barack Obama said.

According to The New York Times, American officials in Washington, D.C. have found no immediate evidence which would suggest that the gunman was a terrorist.
