Heavy Snowfall Caused Cancellation of Wednesday Classes

All day and evening classes and activities at Geneseo were cancelled on Wednesday due to a severe winter storm. Only essential employees were required to report to work. Late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning saw more than 12 inches of snowfall. The last time Dean of Students Dr. Lenny Sancilio could recall classes being cancelled because of the weather was in March of 1993, when the town got about three feet of snow.
